Cflow allows you to enable Approver Location Tracking within the Stage Properties panel under the Controls section. This feature helps administrators track the physical location from which an approver has taken action on a request – only when the action is performed using the Cflow mobile app.
By turning on Approver Location Tracking, Admin users gain valuable visibility into where approvals are happening. This is especially useful in Client Visit or Customer Service workflows, where verifying the location of approval adds a layer of accountability.
For example, if an employee is required to approve a service request during an on-site client visit, this setting allows the Admin to validate that the approval was done from the client location. This enhances transparency, increases operational authenticity, and builds trust in mobile approvals.
To enable this:
- Go to Stage Creation.
- Click on a stage and open Stage Properties.
- Under Controls, toggle ON the Approver Location Tracking option.
- Click Save to apply the change.
This ensures that every mobile approval carries not just a timestamp but also a location stamp, delivering a better audit trail and improving the reliability of field operations.
