How to identify a request easily in Cflow?

In Cflow, each request is automatically assigned a unique ID to help users quickly identify and search for requests. This ID can be displayed in the Stage Inbox by enabling a setting in the form field’s properties.

1) Navigate to the Workflow and Enter Form Creation

  • Go to the Workflow Setup section from the left panel.
  • Click on Workflows and select the workflow you want to edit.
  • Open the Form Creation tab under the selected workflow.

2) Enable “Display in Stage Inbox” for the Field

  • Click on the Identity field (or the field you want to show in the inbox).
  • The Field Properties panel opens on the right.
  • Under the Validation tab, find the setting “Display in Stage Inbox.”
  • From the dropdown, select “Yes.”
  • Click Save to apply the changes.

3) View the Request ID in the Stage Inbox

  • Go to the Workflows section and access the workflow’s Stage Inbox.
  • The request entries will now show the ID column, making it easy to track and search requests.
