1. Introduction

The Feature Request module in Cflow allows users to submit new feature ideas and request improvements directly from the application. This centralized platform helps users communicate their needs clearly while giving the Cflow team visibility into requirements across all clients.
Users can:
- Submit feature ideas
- Attach reference files
- Vote (Recommend) on requests
- Comment on requests
- View requests based on visibility settings
2. Accessing the Feature Request Menu
To open the Feature Request module:
- Log in to Cflow.
- In the top-right corner of the header, click the nine-dot menu.
- Select Feature Request from the menu.
The Feature Request page will open, where you can:
- Browse all available feature requests
- Sort requests using the sorting options
- Create new feature or improvement requests
- View recommendations (votes) and comments
3. Creating a New Feature Request

3.1 Steps to Submit a Request
- Click New Request.
- Fill in the following fields:
- Title – Provide a clear name for the feature.
- Description – Describe the feature or improvement in detail.
- Upload File (optional) – Attach reference files such as images, PDFs, or documents.
- Customer Specific Feature – Enable this if the request should be visible only to users within your organization.
- Click Submit.
Your request will be added to the Feature Request listing page.
4. Customer Specific vs. Public Feature Requests
4.1 Customer Specific Feature
- Visible only to users within your company/domain.
- Only your organization’s users can vote and comment.
- Files attached to the request are also visible only within your organization.
- Email addresses and client names are not shown publicly.
- Cflow support and internal administrators can see full details (email & domain).
4.2 Public Feature Request
- Visible to users across all Cflow clients.
- Any user can vote and comment.
- In the public view, only the user’s name is shown (email and domain are hidden for privacy).
- Cflow support and internal administrators can see full details (email & domain).
5. Viewing Feature Requests
The Feature Request dashboard displays all available requests based on your visibility permission.
5.1 Sorting Options
Use the Sort By dropdown to organize requests:
- Newest First
- Oldest First
- Number of Votes
5.2 Viewing Request Details
Click on a request to open the Request Details Popup, where you can:
- View full description
- See attached files
- Read comments
- View vote count
- Recommend or Unrecommend the feature
6. Voting (Recommend / Unrecommend)
6.1 How to Recommend a Feature
- Open any request.
- Click the Recommend button to support the feature.
- Your name will be listed under voters (without exposing email or client details).
6.2 Unrecommend
- If you change your mind, click Unrecommend to remove your support.
Votes help Cflow prioritize features that users find valuable.
7. Commenting on Feature Requests
7.1 Adding Comments
- Open the request.
- Type your comment in the comment box.
- Click Post.
Comments let users share additional context or discuss the importance of the feature.
7.2 Comment Visibility
- Public requests hide user emails and client names.
- Customer-specific requests show comments only to users of the same organization.
- Support and admin users can view all client and email information.
8. File Attachments
8.1 Uploading Files
You can upload reference files during request creation.
8.2 Viewing Attached Files
- Files are visible according to the request’s visibility rule.
- Public requests show files to all clients.
- Customer-specific files remain internal to the organization.
9. Tracking Your Feature Requests
You can revisit any request you’ve submitted to check:
- Total recommendations
- Comments posted
- Visibility type (Customer Specific or Public)
- File attachments
10. Security and Privacy
Cflow ensures that:
- No email addresses or client domains are shown in the public forum.
- Only user names are displayed publicly.
- Customer-specific requests remain fully private within the client organization.
- Support users have full visibility for troubleshooting and analysis.
11. How Cflow Uses Feature Requests
Cflow reviews each request based on:
- Number of recommendations

- Technical feasibility
Highly requested features receive priority in product planning.
